UX designer working in Figma

Who this role is for

Designers who can blend product thinking with beautiful UI systems. You enjoy collaborating with engineers and writers to tell a consistent story across every screen.

What you will be doing

  • Translate founder briefs into wireframes inside Figma
  • Create full UI kits (desktop + mobile) with states, spacing, and motion notes
  • Collaborate with writers on copy blocks and with developers on feasibility
  • Deliver component specs, redlines, and interaction guidance
  • Prepare handoff Looms so engineering can implement quickly

How projects work

  1. 1.Kickoff with positioning, product footage, and existing assets
  2. 2.Design low-fidelity wireframes for alignment and approvals
  3. 3.Move into polished UI, adding responsive layouts and component docs
  4. 4.Review with devs + writers, incorporate revisions, and finalize
  5. 5.Upload source files + annotations to the dashboard for build
  6. 6.Support QA to make sure the build matches the design system

Pay structure & expectations

  • Wireframe sprint fee followed by full UI milestone fees
  • Add-ons for motion studies or marketing creative bundles
  • Fast-turnaround briefs include rush rates

Required quality standards

  • Every screen includes desktop + mobile variations
  • All typography, spacing, and color tokens live in a shared system
  • Handoff includes prototypes, component descriptions, and assets
  • Designs must align with accessibility basics (contrast, target sizes)

Role-specific requirement: deliver Figma wireframes plus full UI kits before developers start coding.

Flexible schedule / pause anytime

Take on the number of pods that fit your bandwidth. Pause your availability whenever you need to reset or travel.

Work with teams

Designers collaborate daily with writers (copy), developers (build checks), influencers (product shots), and marketers (community assets).
